She was the first to enter the house when the new series of Big Brother kicked off last night and the first to nominate fellow contestants for eviction; Deana Uppal is already tipped to be the star of the show.

The current Miss India UK and Asiana model has brought some much needed glamour and drama to the series. After just an hour into the live programme, Deana was granted immunity from eviction on one count: she cast the first nominations. The housemates were called to the living room for their first task in which Deanna was asked to stand-up and make on the spot nominations. The usually bubbly girl, quietened down when making the tough decision to pick three people, whom she’d only just met.

She chose Victoria Eisermann for having ‘evil eyes’, Conor McIntyre ‘because he didn’t make much effort to talk to me’ and Lydia Louise, who is the girlfriend of pop star Andy Scott Lee. One of these unlucky three will be evicted on Friday, having spent just three days in the house, and will be replaced by a new wild card contestant. One of whom on the list is Bhavesh from Mumbai, described as a 'glamorous high maintenance vegetarian'. Viewers can vote for which wild card they would like to see added to the house.
