Every bride wants to arrive in style
By fashion_admin | Posted Wed 22 September 2010
Every bride wants to arrive in style – be it in a horse-drawn carriage, atop an elephant, in a classic limo fit for a celebrity, or descending from the skies in a helicopter? Without it, you simply won’t get that ‘wow factor’ you’re looking for.
While there are several companies with impressive transportations in their books, there’s nothing like a shoddy carriage or a wary horse to spoil the effect. Make sure the company you are dealing with owns the vehicles. Read all contracts down to the fine print.
Car dealers are notorious for ripping people off, so check all the small print. Such as whether the gratuity for the driver is already added, or whether it has to be paid for separately. Is the horse from a stable in the vicinity or will it have to be transported from a great distance, thus incurring higher fees?
Before booking, insist you are allowed to step inside your vehicle to assess size and comfort. Ask whether they come with full amenities such as champagne or whether you will have to provide your own. Other than ensuring that the look and performance of your transportation are of a high quality, you also need to ensure the chauffeur is immaculately dressed, professional and courteous and above all, gets you to the altar on time!
