Cinnamon Kitchen
A restaurant that understands your desire for options, taste and exquisite presentation

Asian traditions dictate that it’s likely you’ll have several celebrations as part of your marriage festivities and one of them is likely to be a meal. For this you’ll need a restaurant that understands your desire for options, taste and exquisite presentation. The Cinnamon Kitchen and Club hidden amongst the gleaming skyscrapers of the City, is a fantasic choice because it’s not just food they specialise in, the venue also holds a license for civil ceremonies. These are held on a private outdoor candlit terrace, it’s amazing to think you are in a restaurant. But then this is no ordinary curry house, it’s one of the finest establishments in the UK. Headed up by celebrity chef Vivek Singh who has appeared on the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and Masterchef, you can be sure that the food is of the finest quality.

The wedding feast itself can be served up inside their glamorous Indian-inspired Maharaja Marquee. Alternatively the restaurant interiors are luxurious in their own right. Full of Indian textures and exquisite patterns, and hand perforated brass globe lights, the atmosphere is one that is warm and welcoming. For a more intimate affair, there is also a private dining room for up to 12 guests; ideal for a meal with close family. The venue can arrange a champagne reception with Cinnamon Kitchen’s award-winning selection of creative canapés that includes crab and cod cake with a green pea raita shot, and grilled aubergine with peanut crumbled yoghurt.

To complement these, tantalising modern Indian dishes are available on the a la carte menu including Rajasthani spiced roast red deer with stir fried mushrooms and French black leg chicken with fenugreek. Their speciality is tandoori king prawns with Bengali kedgeree, all whipped up before your very own eyes inside their tandoor bar and grill.

After the meal, guests can transfer to Anise, Cinnamon Kitchen’s neon-lit cocktail bar serving up refreshing drinks and mocktails. A compulsory part of every wedding is of course the dancefloor and Anise’s djs will play an infectious soundtrack guaranteed to lure your guests to the dancefloor, ensuring a memorable night is had by all. Though be prepared for the comments of people complaining they are too full to move, it’s a common story!
