12 young hopefuls will be battling it out to be named Lord Alan Sugar’s Young Apprentice in the hope of winning £25,000 to kick start their own business.
The new series of the television programme based on The Apprentice begins next week and among the contestants is 16-year-old Navdeep Bual.
Navdeep from Ilford already has an impressive CV under her belt and as well as being Head Girl at school was the UK’s Young Ambassador for the Global Campaign for Education.
She has also received the Diana Award for contribution to the community and is studying for A’Levels in Biology, Philosophy, Chemistry, Maths and Politics.

Navdeep is confident she’s ready for the challenge and said: ‘I’m probably the most competitive person I know – I thrive on competition; without it, life would be dull.’

Navdeep’s ambition is to be a politician or work for the UN. She’s up against some of the world’s most fierceless youngsters, as this year as well as being plucked from the UK, there is a contestant from Kenya and France.

Over the next few weeks the Young Apprentice stars will be put through some of the toughest challenges of their lives, and just like the sister show, one of them will be fired each week.
Speaking about the show, Lord Sugar said: ‘The whole countries going bankrupt and I believe it is young people who will bring prosperity back to the country.

The Young Apprentice starts on November 1st, 8pm, BBC 1.
