Yorkshire Player 'Bats' For The Other Side

When you play for two teams, you're bound to pick up a few secrets which is exactly what Lanchashire are hoping to learn from tonight, when they play Yorkshire at the Friends Life t20 match in Headingly tonight.

English cricketer Ajmal Shahzad has played for Yorkshire since 2004 but is currently on loan to their rivals Lancashire, until the end of the season.

Under England and Wales cricket board rules Shazad is forbidden to play when both teams meat yet he's still been able to offer a few secrets about each team's tactics.

Shazad is recovering from an intercostal injury but will be there to support the teams.

Lancashire’s Steven Croft said: 'We roughly know Yorkshire's plans and they might know ours, but on the day it’s about how we can nail them down under pressure. Shazad's given us some nice information, so we’ll hopefully use it wisely.'

Both teams have had a good season so far, though Yorkshire skipper Andrew Gale will also be absent tonight due to an injury, and will be replaced by Azeem Rafiq.
