Wrestler Sangram Singh was named by PETA as their sexiest ever brand ambassador, beating off stiff competition by Bollywood hunks John Abraham and Shahid Kapoor.

The Indian sportstar has been a life long vegetarian and recently appeared nude for one of their campaigns to raise awareness of vegetarianism, hiding his modesty with a leaf, whilst holding a half-eaten apple.

Speaking of the campaign, he said: 'I'm flaunting my body, for all to see, so that they too can make a body like mine by sticking to a vegetarian diet.'

As a child, Singh battled several diseases, he was born premature and developed arthritis at a young age. He believes he regained full fitness by following a healthy lifestyle including being a vegetarian.

Singh won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Wrestling Championships held in South Africa and earlier this year starred in reality series Survivor.
