The movie industry is in mourning today after one of India's most internationally respected actors Om Puri OBE has died, aged just 66. Early reports suggest he suffered a heart attack today, Friday 6th January. With a career spanning four decades Om played a variety of roles in everything from Bollywood blockbusters to British TV shows but will be most remembered for his role in the East Is East movies. Reflecting on his career on Twitter back in December Om wrote: 'I have no regrets at all. I have done quite well for myself. I didn’t have a conventional face, but I have done well, and I am proud of it.'
