The 'It' Scarf you need to take you through to the new season, as sported by Ab Fab star

Posted: 15.09.16

'Absolutely fabulous' could sum up what people around the world are saying about the unique, hand-drawn silk scarves from YogyRama. But to Joanna Lumley, one of the stars of the hit British television show (and now a hit movie) Ab Fab, the YogyRama scarves are 'stunning.' That's why she chose to wear one of her favourite design in her new travel documentary, Joanna Lumley's Japan on ITV.
Each of these hand-drawn, luxury silk scarves, inspired by the designer Yogi's Himalayan roots and using an ancient art, telling a story from her childhood memories. Yogi’s drawings capture the biodiversity and intense beauty of the Himalayan valley in the form of stories. Each one-off design is printed onto rich silk fabric and lovingly finished by hand. The exquisite luxury is vibrant and richly coloured.

Joanna, who recently appeared in Martin Scorcese's The Wolf of Wall Street with Leonardo DiCaprio, is a human rights activist and supporter of indigenous communities around the world. So it is appropriate that every sale of a YogyRama scarf supports '1 For Little Hands', an initiative to educate girls in the rural Himalayas.
Joanna Lumley wears 'Glimpse' YogyRama silk scarf, which captures a glance of a hard working Himalayan woman through leaves and the flowers in tiny path on a steep mountainside.
