International hotties get glammed the Indian way

Imagine being invited to THE wedding of the year - a grand affair lasting three days, to celebrate the union of UK based billionaire Sanjay Hinduja to designer Anu Mahtani. Inevitably, the guest list would include the creme de la creme, not just of Bollywood, but of international superstars. What would one possibly wear? There is only one obvious answer to that question - none other than the most sought after Indian designer, Manish Malhotra of course! The glamorous starlets who attended the festivities at the majestic Rajasthani palace in Udaipur, included Manish Malhotra who did indeed dress majority of the guests, Raveena Tandon, Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor.

In what was her first trip to India, global pop icon J-Lo gave an epic performance, whilst Nicole Scherzinger entertained guests alongside Ranveer and Arjun to a number from Gunday. Nicole looked resplendent and sultry in a gorgeous pink sari, although this is not the first time the Pussycat Doll has set trends for Hollywood stars to follow suit the Indian way. She, amongst other Western beauties have been spotted wearing desi outfits before, and doing exceptional justice to the attire and the ethnic image, which has been demonstrated by make-up artists recreating  such inspirational looks in the Spring issue of Asiana Wedding. Raveena and Sophie Choudhry also wore Manish Malhotra ensembles, both looking stunning in a deep wine red hue. The blushing bride looked elegant and graceful in a beige and silver lengha outfit. Each glamorously garbed guest looked befitting amidst the lavish backdrop of opulent The Taj Lake Palace.
