Looking sharp, Boss...

Sometimes I’m smart, other times I’m dressed like a skaterboy. One thing you’ll never see me is in tight gear. I haven’t got a figure for those kinds of clothes because I don’t work out and when it comes to food – I destroy it. I can’t cook, but you’re more than welcome to teach me.

Right little charmer, ain’tcha?

I come across as a flirt but it’s just that I’m a nice guy and girls can take it the wrong way. I’m not vain – it takes me literally 20 minutes to get ready and put on clothes that my mum irons. In terms of being a gentleman, I don’t drink, smoke or take drugs so that might be quite charming...

Broken many hearts lately?

People class me as a heartbreaker because of my image, but when you get to know me, I’m completely different. Sometimes I can be quite shy, but I’m very confident when it comes to my music. That’s not to say I can’t go up to a girl and say hello!

So you’re not the badboy we had you pinned down as?

I’m as real as it gets, to be honest – I’m tough when I need to be, and soft when it feels right. When I see a woman going out of her way to look after her other half, it melts my heart. I’ve never known real love like that.

We figured you’d be the aggressive sort…

I can be stubborn, hence the name Boss – I’m a man of my word which is a good and bad thing and it can be quite a challenge to really know me. I have to take control, I’m not a diva but am very particular about things like women and food! In both cases, they should look well presented and have good taste!

Your perfect woman is…

I like girls who maintain themselves – good sense of style, good speech, a lady should be a lady.

And you’re single because…

I know it’s a cliché to say I’m too busy with my music to get to know females on that level, but it really is true. That doesn’t mean that women aren’t a priority – I mean, they’re the ones I make music for!

Were you always lucky with the ladies?

At school, I was the one loved by all the girls. I was fatter and had long hair, quite cute looking. I wasn’t overly paranoid about not being slim, but my popularity also came with a lot of haters. I used to handle negativity hands on but now if my name is on someone’s lips, it’s a good thing, right?

How would your friends describe you in three words?

Bossy, stubborn and loyal. Girls would say I’m suave, cheeky and mysterious.

Who’s the boss?

In a relationship I’m in control but that doesn’t mean I’m controlling, and I’m protective, but not because I own her. The right girl will be able to know the difference.

At just 21, think you’ve got it made?

Last year I entered a talent competition called Unsigned Act on Channel 4, and I received 5,000 votes in three days, so I know I’ve got what it takes to appeal to a mixed crowd. But I won’t think I’ve really made it until that turns to five million votes!

So what’s your sound?

I sing in Punjabi, English, and I rap and sing slow jams. Everything is on the same level in terms of ability. I have three singles being released this year. Come find me…
