Lara is at Claridges getting ready to set off to celebrate the launch of the Louis Vuitton flagship store on Bond Street, for whom she has been a brand ambassador for the past three years. The world’s most noted fashionistas will be there, and Lara wants to look nothing short of fantastic. Step forward Guerlain, whose make-up range she swears by.  
‘I have been using their products for many years and have loved everything that they have brought out,’ she gushes. High praise indeed, considering the years spent getting ready for the camera has left her slightly wary of make-up artists. She reveals: ‘I’ve had years of people touching my face constantly pulling, poking and tugging at it, so I tend not to wear too much make-up when I’m not working, and am incredibly fussy about what I put on my skin by choice!’
She adds: ‘When you’re Indian you are blessed with certain genes, good skin and good hair, but then it’s up to you to look after it and just make sure that it lasts. So when you find a make-up range that works for you, as I have with Guerlain products, it’s best to stick to it!’
As we watch the naturally beautiful Lara take the hot seat, we do wonder for a few seconds if Guerlain’s make-up artists will just take one look at her and say ‘done’, but it’s a pleasure to watch the magic unfold. At the end of the session, she beams: ‘I’ve been thoroughly spoilt and pampered today by Guerlain. I feel absolutely wonderful.

Complexion
Make-up artist Kasia tells us: ‘Lara had a bit of a tan, so her skin looked already warm and healthy. I used the Guerlain L'Or make-up base with Pure Gold to add even more radiance and to hold the make-up. Precious Light highlighter under the eye area added brightness, while  New Terracotta 4 Seasons bronzing powder and Terracotta Lady Tan Magnifier added that extra sun-kissed look.’

Skincare
Lara has naturally beautiful, smooth skin, so Kasia Tomaka, Guerlain’s make-up artist, used the very best products in the Guerlain skincare range to hydrate, lift and to ensure her skin looked radiant for the entire evening. She made sure the skin nourishment wasn’t reserved only for the face, but gave her whole body that glow. A thrilled Lara revealed afterwards: ‘My whole body feels incredibly supple. It’s important for all of your skin to feel fresh to complete a look, especially when you’re baring flesh in your eveningwear.’

Eyes:
Kasia revealed: ‘Lara’s eyes are just so naturally striking. I concentrated on those gorgeous brown eyes by adding golds and sparkling browns with Guerlain Ombre Eclat 4 Shades in 441. I then contoured the eyes with our Black Liquid Eyeliner and Black Kohl Pencil to give Lara that daring, edgy evening look.’

Lips
Lara toyed with a rouge lipstick, but then it was decided simplicity was the key to carry off the look she was after. Kasia pointed out: ‘Lara wasn’t going for out-and-out seduction, but a more understated allure. Because I created a dramatic smoky look on Lara’s eyes to heighten the drama, I opted for very nude colours on her lips using hydrating Rouge G lipstick with pure ruby powder and mango butter and then finishing off with Terracotta sparkling lip gloss in 01 for extra shine.’

‘To add a glow to Lara's golden body, I applied Guerlain Terracotta Dry Oil with tiny gold particles and the creamy, warm smell of Tiare Flower to her legs and arms. To add extra sparkles I've brushed Terracotta Lady Tan Magnifier over her decollete’
