Soft romantic
Spring hair trend
By fashion_admin | Posted Thu 10 March 2011
Feminine and romantic hairstyles made a return on the spring/ summer catwalks and one of our favourite and most easy to achieve looks has got to be the 1970’s waves. Tumbling waves set off with masses of gentle texture works best on longer hairstyles. ‘To get the look, wash your hair with a volume boosting shampoo and conditioner before towel drying and massaging a mousse through from root to tip, says Pushpa Kara of Kent Brushes.
‘Next, use a Kent Tail Comb (£4) to create a deep side parting into the hair line, working from the outer edge of your right eyebrow. Blow-dry the hair using Kent’s 33mm Ceramic Coated Radial Brush (£9.50), which has a heat retaining core to help create volume and soft curls. Spritz with a shine spray before gently brushing hair through using your fingertips. www.kentbrushes.com
