Every South Asian woman knows that the secret to having captivating eyes lies in her make-up. Eyes have long been a focal point for brides, often it's the eyes that do all the taking while the rest of the beauty balances out the impact. At The Asiana Bridal Show 2015 real-life brides were invited along for a bridal beauty makeover by Roshni, founder of Roshni Hair and Makeup using products from Estée Lauder Companies’ portfolio of luxury brands. For real bride Parishma Roshni did a stunning makeover, focusing on creating an 'impactful eye' that is perfect for all kinds of brides. In this tutorial of the look, Roshni explains how she created a striking smoky eye using shades of bronze and gold with a touch of black; colours that complement the ornate work on many of the traditional outfits worn at weddings.

Firstly, apply a base using Bobbi Brown Longwear Eye Base to ensure longevity of the eye shadow application and to avoid any creasing. It is pertinent that a base is used prior to the eye shadow application. For traditional eyes, it is always safe to have a play of colours that are earthy so they can complement the outfits without looking too obvious.

For the eye shadow, use the Clinique Quad shadow in morning Java. Apply the lightest colour to the brow bone and inner corners and swept the gold across the ball of the eye lid, smudging the chocolate along the crease line ensuring that there aren't any harsh lines. To add definition, smudge on the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink, right up against the upper lash line and blending it in with a brush, creating a dramatic volumous look.

Line the water line in Clinique Quick Liner for Eyes Intense in Intense Midnight ensuring that it is smudgy and dramatic. Go back to the Clinique Quad eye shadow palette in Morning Java and define the outer corners of the eyes using the darkest shade. This gives the eyes a more dramatic look without overpowering the earthy tones and still complementing the gold and traditional feel of the look.

The look is never complete without lashes. All brides should celebrate the volumous lashes which complement the elaborate jewellery and garments and gives the face a bold and defined look. Lashes look great in photographs too and open up the eyes making them look bigger and more open. The MAC False lashes don’t feel heavy on the eyes and are easy to apply.

Apply Smashbox BB Concealer in Medium and sweep it gently in the under eye area giving it a clean, finished look. Well-groomed eyebrows will instantly give your face a more polished look.

Roshni defines Parishma's brows with the Bobbi Brown Brow Kit in Saddle/ Mahogany To finish the eye area, use the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink.

A lot of women are afraid of using glitter, but it doesn’t have to look childlike or girly, if you get it right, it can look striking and sophisticated. Press the MAC Reflects Glitter in Antique Gold gently on top of the lids with a flat eye shadow brush.

To help blend your eyelashes with the false ones, use mascara such as the Smashbox Full Exposure Waterproof Mascara in Jet Black. Blend it to the top lashes, this mascara is great in adding volume, length and curl. Finish off the look with the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara used specifically for the bottom lashes to make the eyes look wider and more defined. With this, you get really high-impact, sparkly eyes that look stunning at evening reception parties for the big day.
