Living up to its name, the latest collection by Traditions, enlivened the authentic Asian bridal look amidst a stunning poppy field of ruby red, luxuriously draped lenghas and dresses. Despite the predominance of vermillion red, each gracious creation stood out due to the variety of decorum. All ensembles were uniquely adorned in gold zardozi embroidery, but in varying designs, whilst dresses featured panelled flowing skirts, with a timeless damask print in gilt gold. Although they kept up the theme of marsala red, which happens to be THE colour of 2015, a rich colour palette was consistent, with the prevalence of rustic orange, contrasting with deep maroons, mostly decorated on velvet textured borders, finishing the outline of the dupattas and hem-lines. An enticing selection of modern and traditional styles were showcased, leaving the spectating would-be-brides simply awe-inspired.
